Station 3

KCFD1 was a recipient of a $3.536 million dollar ARRA Assistance to Firefighters Station Construction Grant. The newly  constructed Station 3 was finished in February of 2013 with a lot size  of 46,000 Sq Ft and a building size of 13,373 Sq.

Personnel and apparatus

Station 3 typically houses the shift's Battalion Chief, 1 Captain, 3 Firefighters and 2 EMS personnel per shift. During the remodel of Station 1 an additional engine company, which includes 1 Captain and 3 Firefighters are also housed here.  The following front line apparatus currently responds from the station:
